Maternal Mortality and Reproductive Rights
From Community Health workers, Obstetrical emergency teams to safe delivery training and kits, HALFA creates a model to provide prenatal care to remote villages and cities as well as access to life saving technology and medicine during delivery and after. By giving them direct access to safe delivery kits, women can now protect their rights to better outcomes without being restricted by their male partners.
Women's Health Services
HALFA is the creator of the first Women's Hospital in Senegal providing all Health care needs to women under one roof and acting as a national referral center for high acuity cases. The State of the art facility includes outpatient and inpatient care, surgery, labor and delivery, pharmacy, laboratory services, pediatric clinic and training centers for providers and health care workers.
Cervical & Breast Cancer
Cervical Cancer Death is Avoidable, and HALFA is dedicated to making sure that every public center across the country is equipped with providers who know how to perform the see and Treat method.
HALFA provides mobile mammogram screening vans to villages and cities that do not have access to screening.
